It was one of those days ...

You know ... where you

get home from work
been on your feet all day
change into dressier clothes with heels
head off to a restaurant
celebrate the day of your spouse's birth
drive here
drive there
realize you haven't stopped since 5:30 am
realize it is nearly 8:30 pm.
Get home
Pretend scream 10x at the practical joke roach gum MTM has got
Let the dog out (in heels)
Pop MTM in the shower
Haul the over-flowing laundry basket upstairs (because your son ran out of underwear sometime in the last 3 days)
Kick aside the random Matchbox cars that always find your toes
Lay out PJ's
Make sure that soap is being used
Lay out next day clothes
Give a 2 minute warning
Turn down the covers
Get MTM out
Dry him off
Help him put his PJ's on

and then ...
